Great news… we can get back out on court…  So dust your rackets off and from Wednesday the courts will be open!

As you will probably know we are governed by the Tier we find ourselves in, which is currently Tier 2.

In summary this means that we can basically go back to what we were doing prior to early November, including:

    t

  • Singles and doubles play
  • t

  • All coaching including one-to-one, groups – adults up to 12 on a court – kids up to 15 on a court
  • t

  • Internal and external competitions permitted
  • t

  • Spectating to me minimised – rule of 6 apples
  • t

  • Parent/guardian supervision permitted – one per player
  • t

  • No socialising before or after activity
  • t

  • Social distancing to be maintained before, during and after play for all activity across all levels.

We are waiting for the full guides from the LTA to be published later today and we will get these out on an email as soon as we have them.

The clubhouse will be open if a coach or a member of the Exec is at the club.  Please remember that If you do enter the clubhouse you do so only to:

    t

  • Access the toilets
  • t

  • Get water from the kitchen
  • t

  • Access first aid supplies or, in the event of an accident, seek shelter
  • t

  • Shelter from severe weather for short periods
  • t

  • View or enter scores for the winter box leagues on the back wall.  Please sanitise pens if you are using the pens supplied (there will be sanitiser left on the table).

All visitors must sign into the visitors book, which we will leave on the table at the back of the clubhouse.  They must leave their name and a contact telephone number.  Can we ask that any team captains who are hosting visiting opposition ensure that they are aware that masks should be worn and that they must sign in.

There should be no more than 6 people in the clubhouse at any one time. Please remember to bring a mask with you to the club and wear one if you are entering the clubhouse for any reason.
