Winter Tournament Entry Deadline – Sunday 14th January.
Winter Tournament forms are now available at the club, both singles and mixed doubles knockout competition. Deadline for entry is Sunday 14th of January.
To enter:
Please complete a paper form, which can be found next to the tournament board in the club house and enclose the completed form (with monies) in a sealed envelope and post in the Tournament box (found on the wall next to the tournament board) in the Clubhouse.
Alternatively, if you are unlikely to visit the club before the deadline or there are no forms when you visit, please email us at [email protected] and ensure you enclose payment for your entry with your name in the Tournament Box at a later time.
Payment will also be accepted via BACS transfer.
Finals day for this tournament will be Sunday 7th April 2024.
If we do not receive payment with your entry, you will not be entered into the tournament!

Christmas Cup American Tournament
A big turn out at the Bank Holiday Tournament in rainy conditions led to a very soggy but hard fought final between Fiona and Steve vs Molly and James. Well done to both pairs, and to Fiona and Steve our Champions! Also, big thank you to Graham for organising a great day!

Has your liver had enough of Christmas? Are you one of those brave, amazing, souls that are doing Dry January? Our wonderful Bar Manager has arranged for us now to be stocking, for a limited period, Guiness 0.0 and Peroni 0, which we will be selling for the remarkably low price of £2 per drink! No excuses. Get the taste but not the alcohol! While stocks last.
Missing Sack Barrow…
Unfortunately, on a more depressing note, would whoever has “borrowed” the foldable sack barrow that was kept in the cellar and “forgotten to return it”, please bring it back as it was somebodies personal property and we need it.
Leylandii update!
The dreaded leylandii seem to have gone a bit beserk around the club! In the next few weeks we are hoping that it is going to stop raining and we can organise a working party to have a bit of a prune! We will keep you posted with a date but any help would obviously be greatly appreciated.
