WHAT’S ON OFFER FOR ADULT TENNIS…
WEDNESDAY EVENING SOCIAL
During the summer months (May to September), Wednesday evening from 6:30pm is solely for adult Social Tennis. The evening is organized by the head coach and consists of 30-minute sessions, which continue until it gets dark when players can adjourn to the club bar. The aim is to have fun, try out new shots, meet other players and play some friendly doubles games.
All year round on Sunday mornings from 10.30 until 1pm. This is an opportunity for people to play doubles with a mix of abilities. The games are not formally organized and as each doubles match finishes the groups of four will mix as best they can. One set is the maximum before change over.
To improve fitness Cardio tennis is offered which features tennis drills to give players of all abilities an ultimate, high-energy workout. Taught by Leverstock’s coaching team, Cardio Tennis includes a warm-up, cardio workout, and cool down phase. It’s a great new way to get in shape and to burn calories and anyone can try it. Sessions are 60 minutes long, open to members and non-members, and take place on Thursdays at 9:30am.
GROUP COACHING (DROP IN SESSIONS) AND INDIVIDUAL LESSONS
Weekly coaching sessions for beginners through to improvers are offered to members and non-members.
We are currently running Adult Drop In sessions on 2 mornings each week. These sessions are open to non-members and they are 90 minutes long ending with coffee and biscuits. The adult sessions run on Mondays and Fridays from 9:30am until 11am.

Through the winter months, ladies’ and men’s team practice occurs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings respectively. These sessions are specifically aimed at team players.
