LGLTC Chair
The Club’s Chair takes an overview of all aspects of the Club, chairing all Main Committee
meetings, the Club’s annual AGM and any other General Meetings.
LGLTC Secretary
The Club’s Secretary is responsible for organising the MC monthly meetings and all
the Club’s annual AGM and any other General Meetings. They also ensure all Club
documentation (Policies, Role & Responsibilities, Schedules etc) are reviewed as
required and ensure all requirements related to LGLTC Ltd.’s status as an Incorporated
Club are met.
LGLTC Treasurer
The Club’s Treasurer is responsible for all financial matters at LGLTC: setting and
monitoring annual budgets, managing access to the Club’s bank accounts and ensuring
all statutory financial requirements are met, such as generation of Company Accounts
for Companies House.
Playing Committee
The Playing Committee is responsible for the organisation of tennis played at LGLTC,
ensuring equal opportunities for all members of the club, at all standards of play. It is also
responsible for all inter and intra club completions and all social playing events.
Membership Committee
The membership team are responsible for all membership matters at the Club. This
includes ensuring the membership data is accurate, organising new memberships and
renewals.
Courts and Grounds Committee
The Grounds and Courts Committee is responsible for all the external maintenance of
the club, on and off court.
Clubhouse Manager
The Clubhouse manager is responsible for all the maintenance of the clubhouse and
oversees the running of the bar.
Marketing Committee
The Marketing/Communications Team is responsible for updating the club website and
keeping members informed, via website, social media and email, of events at the club
throughout the year.
Social Committee
The Social Committee is responsible for all non-playing activities at the club. It runs a
number of evening events during the year including Quiz Nights, Themed Evenings,
Summer Presentation Evening, LGLTC annual Dinner Dance and the Christmas Party.
