Dear all, we are very pleased to announce that the club will reopen from the 29th of March!  πŸŽΎπŸŽΎπŸŽΎπŸŽΎ

Please see below for an update on our events and competitiosn as well as the safety measures we have in place to keep you safe:

Monday 29th March – Coffee mornings are back!

9.30am-11.00am – every Monday and Friday going forward – it’s even going ahead for Good Friday on 2nd April! No sign up required.

Monday 5th April – Easter Bank Holiday Tournament – The Clapham Cup

This was a sell out! Entry is now closed and we have a reserve list in place. If you have entered, via ClubSpark, and can not longer attend please let Graham Fish know as soon as possible so we can activate the reserve list.

Tuesday 6th April – Friday 9th April – Easter Camp for Juniors

This was another sell out! Great news for the coaching team after such a long break.  There are lots of members and new juniors coming along, which is a great new members opportunity. To allow us to follow Covid guidelines the team will need up to 6 courts in the morning and 6 courts in the afternoon during this week. There will be no Pickleball this week, but there may be pressure on court usage during the day and we would ask for your patience to allow the team to take advantage of this surge of interest.

Sunday 11th April – Sunday Social with David Gray

Sunday social is back from 10.00am-12.00 – no sign up required.

Sunday 18th April – Outstanding Finals for the 2020 Club Closed and Handicap

Good luck to all those taking part. I am afraid that we cannot allow any spectating at this time.

Winter Boxes 2020-21

Winter Boxes will be left on the back wall. Please feel free to use them to organise matches against members of a similar standard. Unfortunately, the competition has been cancelled at this stage as there is not enough time to finish all matches.

Summer Boxes 2021

The Summer Boxes will be open for registration from mid-April and run from May through to the end of September. We will let you know when you can enter.

Club Closed 2021

We hope to kick this off at the beginning of May with the finals being planned for September. More details will follow asap.

Unfortunately, we have had to cancel the 2021 Winter Singles. This years Tie Break Shoot Outs will be dependent on court availability – we will let you know asap.

Clay Courts
Our annual refurb of the clay courts will start from Tuesday 6th April. Weather permitting this will take 2 weeks to complete and the courts will be out of action during this time.

Don’t forget membership renewal is now due. To renew your membership simply complete the renewal form by clicking  HERE

LGLTC Treasurer
Great news! Shaun Bell, whom some of you will know, has taken up the reigns of the Treasurer role. Karen, Shaun and Sandra Mellish, who is continuing in the Assistant role, are working through a handover process currently.

We welcome Shaun to the role and thank Karen for her continued support during this time.

We must remind you all to continue to comply with government guidance regarding, health, travel, social distancing and hygiene at all times (details of which can be found below). Government advises that if you, or someone you live with, currently has or has had within the last two weeks symptoms of COVID-19, or you are in the most vulnerable category, you must stay at home (and not visit the club). For more detailed advice click  HERE

If you are at the club please ensure that there are no more than 6 socially distance people in any one area. That means that there should be no more than 6 on the patio directly outside the toilet windows, no more than 6 on the patio area in front of court 1 and this also applies to the car park area. It is imperative that the club is seen to be following all guidance and rules.
