*** UPDATE *** They did it! Total raised £2,250. Number of people coached over the week-end: 180

Well done to the girls & Graham!! And thank you to all the volunteers who helped, including Liam Dalmon for providing hot food over the weekend, Sam and Elaine for the breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday, and Tyls for manning the bar. ——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————–Graham Fish and his 11 strong female coaching team will be attempting to break a Coaching World Record by completing 60 hours of non-stop coaching from 9am on Friday the 31st August until 9pm on Sunday the 2nd September. They are aiming to raise the profile of young female tennis coaches whilst raising money for Keech Hospice Care and The Dan Maskell Trust, a tennis charity that raises funds for people with disabilities and creates opportunities for them to enjoy playing tennis.

During the weekend there will be lots of opportunities for members to take part. Coaching sessions are open to all, either individual or in group and cost £20 per hour with all proceeds going to the selected charities. If you would like to join in please contact Graham Fish (Mob: 07950732772- Email: [email protected]) to book your slot! The bar will be open on Saturday night so if you would like to come down to support, everyone is welcome. There is more on offer which you will see on the posters around the club. We are hoping to welcome Mike Penning to the club on Sunday at 10.00am and the BBC are hoping to pop in for some coverage. You may have already seen a piece in the Gazette and heard Lizzy on local radio. Should be a great weekend – lots of luck to the team!
